2 weeks from Broken Arrow 23K (4,700’ gain) in Tahoe. My last long training run with my own SF 7 Summits Half+.

One of the best things I appreciate about San Francisco? The MANY parks where you can run and catch incredible views.

Even on foggy days, these places make you forget you live in a city. It was like trail running through Jurassic Park this morning on Mt. Davidson!

Found out this weekend, I finally got off the waitlist for Broken Arrow Skyrace 23K (13.5 miles, 4700’ elev gain!) in Lake Tahoe. 1 month out! 😬

Went for a training run near my apartment. SF is such an amazingly beautiful place to train 🤩. Who agrees with me?

Fun way to see the city? Get together a group of friends and do a Tour de Pastries ride 🚴‍♂️🥐. We visited these 10 spots I’ve never been to.

Note: we also rode up to Twin Peaks to help burn off all the butter and sugar we consumed hence the 2,100’ elev gain 😂

Life lessons to be learned from Harvard’s response to the WH:
1) build up a savings fund
2) stay true to your values and goals
3) when those who have large influences over you be it gov’t, boss, parents, partner, etc no longer align with your values or support you, use pt 1 to remain true to pt 2

Looks like running will be 46-54pct more expensive going forward. Those $150 HOKA Cliftons and $285 Nike Alpha Flys could be $220 and $438 respectively.

The vast majority of shoes are made in Vietnam or China.

Not the way to make America healthier.
