My reading tracker since 2023 tinyurl.com/cecireads (don't judge me on the fanfiction tab hahaha)

Sometimes you just need a break and pick up "Romanced by the Rat" for FUN!
Finished Alchemised, I think it delivered, i was legit crying for the last 200 pages straight, the world was SO much darker than in the fic though, I'm just processing still
ok, I'm feeling it lool, it really picks in part 2, im 700ish pages in and ready for the devastation, give it to me! (also there's no way this is going to be a good movie.... too gory)
this is stupid, but i feel so vindicated that @brilliantli.bsky.social liked the lola book after me saying it was a good fun read for so long, is like a great I told you so moment. Now back to recruiting more lola fans hehe

i can literally hear it lool
after the whole month well spent on silksong I'm back to the reading with Alchemised, I'm on chapter 12 which is the first flashback.. honestly I'm NOT feeling it, the magic system tried to be so different it's so flawed and confusing, which funnily enough was my major criticism for Manacled
Finished the Witchstone, gave it a solid 9, i liked the funny characters and appreciated the sarcasm heavy language a lot, it was sort of like a paranormal adventure, very fun overall.
I can't believe there's only 1 more week of LCK like whaat?
I just saw the alchemised book and MY GOD IS A BRICK I love that for her, I presume it's the whole story and gonna be a series like others long fanfic to book deals...
Finished Better than the Movies, it was a solid 8, had potential to be a 10 but I didn't like the structure of the plot, some things needed to be shorter, and others needed to go deeper, but a fun time overall, not reading the sequel, I liked the ending as it is.
Oh right finished reading Bunny, I went in blind and WTF that was a psycho read, in a totally good way, very fun, I even watched the 1989 movie Heathers it took inspo from and I liked it too, bizarre fest
Faker re-signing for 4 whole years is such bless to witness, he's proving that age is nothing but a number.
wait I thought I was kinda stuff in my reading list but then I realized I'm actually reading my 6th book of the month? ye?
haven't been very consistent with posting my reads, but alas, I finished piranesi by susanna clarke, gave it a solid 8/10 very weird book, liked the plot and characters a lot but i had a problem with the execution of it
Finished Problematic Summer Romance by Ali Hazewood, gave it a 7.5, this is my first romance book from her (I dont count Bride) I didn't even knew it was a sequel from eli and rue story, I liked it a lot, but it dragged a lot too, I get you want the longing story but I've read better in ao3.
finished Nettle & Bone, gave it a 9 it's an adult fairy tale story, very magical but not pretty, like a Brothers Grimm tale.
Picking up Nettle and bone, has been on my tbr since forever it feels like.
Finished the debt of time fanfic, 9/10, 2000+ pages that should've been 500 less but also 1000+ more, also my first Hermione/Sirius pair, but it was fine she went back in time so age diff was not as weird, very well maneuvered actually
Finished Wild Dark Shore, gave it a 6/10 it was ok, ending was meh also could’ve been so much better, kind of a pity there.
finished all 8 books of solo leveling, overall it's an 8.5, good story felt short but long lol, some parts really took me off guard, the last vol it's a recollection of small stories so the story kinda ended in vol 7. There's a sequel, but it's by another author so I'm not really interested
I'm on solo leveling vol7 and fearing that is not over... only 8 vols but the story feels ... bigger than what 2 vol can cover 😱
it's already mid may and I have read 25 books so far, last year was my most prolific by far, with over 60, I'm in no rush, reading is my hobby not a chore, and I also have watched 0 dramas lol, but I do find the numbers interesting.
Solo Leveling, Vol 1, review: it's a 9, same old premise of weak character gets an op power, he is kind of too strong too fast but not unreasonably so, gonna keep reading next volume soon.
I got gwen'ed, the intrusive thoughts won and I finally cut my hair, I honestly wanted a pixie cut but I think going from rapunzel to bellow the shoulders is fine for now, my head feels so light and I missed ponytails 🤣
Finished my Dark Vanessa, it was a good read, 7.8 I would recommend, honestly the less you know the better, to mostly avoid previous judgement, all you need to know is that Vanessa gets into an abusive relationship and this is her pov.
