Ya but now we risk a much bigger scope of censorship, algorithm supression, etc, while forcing everyone to pander to what an AI thinks is “good” instead of the people.
It is fundamentally a shift away from making work for fellow people to making slop for and to pander to AI. Its a huuuge deal

Why does that matter? Because Grok isnt an “intelligent AI”, its “Elon’s AI” and hes gotten upset time after time it was “too woke” for having morals and changes it forcefully. Before it was an annoying thing stapled onto the site, now its how it lives and breathes—

Twitter IS the bot account.

I understand why you think that, but this time’s def a bit different. TLDR: its ALL grok stuff in its backend, so how well you do on twitter is how well you can appeal to the AI *directly*. Before it just was used as a summary tool for the “trending”, now its *everything*

Shiny charm is in every pokemon game since fire red, including any “side” games like Arceus where you can catch pokemon 🥰

Its just a lot stronger here because of the other changes to shinies being more “catch” focused

Ik the algorithm and vibes here are better, but I've been posting to near no responses for 3+ years, partly because of needing to focus on mental health.

Like just as an example: imagine stopping gangs ("teams") based on the typings, and there would be districts "sharing" space between different teams all trying to get people to love their pokemon and their pokemon only, with a nice lil msg of "all pokemon matter". Think gang wars but rated PG.

sooo if its your jazz, awesome! The new combats amazing! But I like the adventure aspect, and as soon as I heard "1 town" that was dead in the water for me. Its all 1 samey map, so theres not any "discovery" to be had. Its why I was hoping for "city districts" like NYC or smth based on the typings!

Im playing Dying Light 2 and liking it, and that games got many known issues too. For me it didnt hurt the experience, for pokemon it did. Idk why thats so complicated for people. People enjoy the game different ways, and this new pokemon game just appeals to way less playstyles more or less tbh

Im comparing it to fire red, thats my first game, and compared to that- I cant do breeding, go into buildings, explore beyond the city, etc. Its a $70 game, and to me if it cant beat a gameboy game its not worth my money, but to those who enjoy it, more power to u!
