They get their shit kicked in versus their victims sometimes (even those smaller and less experienced in fighting than them). AND to top it all off, their plans are often, STUPID.

And yet, they still scare me. That's how good the direction is.

Scream is actually so good when I realised that their villains are actually the WORST. No major backstory or chilling mythos, they're not superhuman or supernatural. They're regular ass people in masks with a knife.

Scream => Friday the 13th > Halloween > Nightmare on Elm Street

also watched The Thing. The Thing clears all of these on pure aura alone
