This is me, finally migrating over to Bluesky. Will be posting global baseball bits, Ohtani stats/news, and miscellaneous...
Same blueprint in STL & San Diego. Under pressure, coaches & vulnerable staff bore the brunt of Shildt's wrath while he coddled players to ingratiate himself with the clubhouse & protect his job security.

Meanwhile, Joe Maddon was fired for REFUSING to SCAPEGOAT & fire his coaches for Moreno

Nailed it. Completely agree. And maybe it's just me but I find him to be such an aesthetically pleasing pitcher to watch, just a gorgeous performance.
That look when you know you're good, and they gon' learn...and they learned today

Yoshinobu Yamamoto goes CG with a 9 inning masterclass.

#Dodgers take the first 2 games against the #Brewers.

Wow. Just Wow.
Blake Snell was at his absolute best tonight against a solid hitting team in the Brewers.

Next man up, Yamamoto.
Dave kayfabes a lot and routinely throws Ohtani under the bus, and it's always for a reason imo, but that's all I'll say for now

There is plenty of critique to go around, yet he's always so so selective in who he criticizes... I am not worried at all about Shohei Ohtani at the plate. Went back and looked at the pitch locations of the Phillies lefties. They were not giving him anything fat over the plate. That mgr is such a 🐍
Maybe the Tigers position players shouldn't have done that orange turd dance to pander to that fascist idiot...maybe then they might have pulled out a win 🤔

In the NLDS, Ohtani worked a walk against Duran in Game 1 and was on his way to another walk in Game 2 when he was called out on a questionable check swing, which they NEVER showed a replay of...
So much discourse, still, about the Phillies walking Ohtani in the 7th. Anybody that has watched Ohtani and Duran when they were both in the AL knows that Shohei has pretty much owned and done damage against him. Phillies made the right call.

Just give credit to Mookie Betts for an excellent AB.
Exactly!

Schwarber was circled in the Dodgers' pitching meetings. Aside from the bad pitch selection that Yama threw and the BP practice from Kersh, Schwarber was a nonfactor.

And as Rob Thomson said, Ohtani was pitched well against because they specifically planned for him and EXECUTED. Nasty af
💯 No hitters from either team could consistently "pop off" in the series because of it, so I'm laughing at the Phillies fans shitting on all their players, especially their BIG BATS, and the faction of Dodgers fans who almost SOLELY shit on their players of color, i.e. Ohtani, Teo, Pages. Fuck them

Shohei Ohtani’s aura got an RBI
That turdface is the worst cloutchasing blue checker in that whole Dodgers-sphere outhouse
Tyler Glasnow & Roki Sasaki come up big in Game 4 as the Dodgers win the series and advance to face the winner of Chicago v Milwaukee in the NLCS.

As a pitching aficionado, watching this Dodgers-Phillies matchup was pure joy. So much brilliance from both pitching staffs. Shame someone had to lose
They always do this to him...😔
No run support. Then pitch calling. Then shaky defense.
And a 1-1 game becomes 3 -1.

That said, credit to Nola and Suarez for holding down the Dodgers line up.

Game 4 tomorrow with Glasnow and Sanchez going head to head.
Nothing would make me happier since they should've been swept by the Red Sox in the Wild Card round
Don't get me started, lol. Japanese fans are also growing increasingly tired of Roberts' moves
