Meine Arbeitswochen sahen so aus: Montag bis Freitag von 09:00 bis 18:30 Uhr bei Techma, anschließend bis 01:00 Uhr morgens im Kino. Samstag und Sonntag von 14:00 bis 01:00 Uhr ebenfalls im Kino. Ich war damals so gut wie nie zu Hause. Das war aber die perfekte Gelegenheit, meinem Vater aus dem Wege zu gehen. EN: This was playing in 1987 at the Bambi Cinema in Wolfsburg (Porschestraße): Black Widow. At the Imperial, An American Tail was showing. Other shops visible in this photo: Eduscho, Singer, Peek & Cloppenburg. I bought some stickers that look like passport stamps. There are also ones that resemble luggage tags from airport check-ins, each featuring a different country. Great for decorating your own suitcases—or, as I did,for covering my journals and notes with them. Looks pretty nice.

Deutsch (German): Nachdem mich mein Vater über viele Jahre physisch und psychisch missbraucht hatte, entschied ich eines Tages, den Kontakt zu ihm abzubrechen. Nun konnte er mir nichts mehr tun – das gefiel ihm nicht. Also entschloss er sich dazu, mich zu enterben. Sozusagen als letzter Schlag aus dem Grab heraus. Zum Foto: Ein verblasstes, körniges Foto aus den 70er Jahren zeigt einen Jungen, Flynn, und seinen Vater, die auf einem Teppich in einem mit Spielzeug gefüllten Zimmer sitzen.
