I miss it. It was essentially Dark Age of Camelot with a veneer of Warhammer Fantasy, but it was really fun that the Greenskins had a WAAAAGH! emote and in a raid we were all spamming it once.

It does have a private server on Return of Reckoning for that nostalgia, though, so that's good.

🎃 QRP your pumpkin art 🎃

#miniatures #minipainting #art #painting #3dprinting #d&d #warhammer #halloween
Pictured is a painted miniature depicting a golem constructed of orange pumpkins, sharp purple stones from an open rib cage, housing a skeleton with its arms crossed. The golem wields a large shovel, and steps over a purple gravestone which reads, "I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK"

Waiting with bated breath for it partly because of the quasi-stop motion animation, and partly because Melancholy Hill is a hell of a referential name for a protagonist.

Dang ol' Batman fighting Blight in the sewers.

If they do anything with the art ( Praying they don't ), they better have Toyotaro on board as artist. He may not be Toriyama, but he's the closest thing we still have to maintain the man's legacy.

All hail the River King, I love it.

Shit, heart goes out to you and your family in this time of loss.

Woe, Medea upon ye.

It was already on my to-play list eventually, glad to see that even somebody who was never really into Atlus RPGs enjoyed it so much :)

What was in the suitcase in Pulp Fiction?

Fair, being voiced by Hagrid's actor didn't help either :p

Real talk for as little screen time as he has in the movie I absolutely loved Van Helsing's interpretation of Jekyll and Hyde.

'Woke' as a pejorative is such an annoyingly nebulous word for folks to use as well. Maybe I'm just getting too old for this kind of shit but would much rather they just say what they really mean over just using that as an excuse.

"Commit not the sin of empathy. Suffer not the Alien, the Mutant, the Heretic to live."

Damn if you didn't hit the mark.

Chocolate, born of cacao, began its history as medicine and as a ritual aid. To the Mayans chocolate is what their gods drank and so it was used to get closer to the gods. The Aztecs used it as a luxury good and currency. North and South Americans sought it. #MythologyMonday
The evolution of chocolate, showing unprocessed cacao on the far right like little brown stones, then the slow process of tearing it up and grinding it into dust before combining it with milk to become milk chocolate.

Litmus test to find out if the woman is a fey or not. If they look at it with a cool, almost amused boredom, that's not a woman. That's a Baobhan Sith.

Adam was for all intents and purposes the monster in society's eyes because he was still an artificial man of flesh wrought from cadavers. Victor was the monster in the reader and Adam's eyes because what kind of a God or father creates and then laments at his sin while scorning his son.

Which actually made the contrast between them and the Eredar refugees known as Draenei all the more interesting because they likewise were deeply spiritual but more monotheistic and technologically advanced/alien, if that makes sense.

That's part of why I also enjoyed the Orcs in Warcraft. Once you got past the daemonic influence from drinking Mannoroth's Demon Dewrito, they are still very much a deeply spiritual warrior race that eschews technology for a connection with the natural world.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1. Was an interesting af loading screen because the figures are meant to represent Kain and his vampiric 'sons', plus Malek. Funnily enough, Raziel is easy to point out because his statue is the only one that has blue eyes :P

Hands down these two.

Real talk, playing Skyrim the first go around as an Orc aligned with the Imperials over Stormcloaks was probably one of the most satisfying roleplaying game experiences. Plus, knowing what Orsimer means in the Aldmeris tongue, felt appropriate.

A balance of both is often times the hardest and the most fulfilling experience. Draconian challenges in both DQ3 2D-HD and DQXI fill that itch pretty nicely over the all-too-common belligerent game design choices in some FromSoft games.
