a warm welcome back to "don't do what i do"; last couple of months i found myself working on multiple LARGE projects at a time, turns out this can achieve burnout at an alarming rate. slow and steady, and healthy. keep it cool out there, and have a good weekend. edit: lol animation
I slipped on the ice some weeks back, really hurt my drawing hand. It's significantly better now, but taking it easy. Pushed back some projects for sure. Stay safe out there friendos!
i haven't checked blusk or twxter in weeks, then i log in here to see i've been spotted by a few people! basically i wanted to see what would happen if i didn't tell anyone about being here. hope you enjoy the ride on bluesky! also yes i'm drawing a comic, october sucked, happy friday night!
When Im grinding on a big project I often focus to the point of near-exhaustion (don't do this). After finishing it feels great to be experimental again and just do silly sketches for fun. It's refreshing; reinvigorates creativity.
i'm reminding myself this is a hobby; making it a job would take the fun out of it! drawing time is limited - i'm a big boy with big responsibilities, but i am thankful to actually have time to exercise this hobby, and i'm thankful to have you along for the journey. HFN!
i forgot twixter decimates the quality, I didn't realise blsk would have been worse. should have split it up properly. nevermind. i'll probably not be posting anything for next month, i want to grind on the comic. have a good week!
