if the game holds your hand the entire time it often feels like you're just on an amusement park ride. you are just there passively doing minimal interaction to (realistically) obtain the most "fun"

like i get it because sometimes there are days where i want to just get to "the good parts" and games that let you just do that are good. but at the same time it always feels like there's something missing. the friction is important

i have a complicated opinion about games that streamline the playing experience to the point where you never need to go out of your way to interact with it's elements. because i both get it and also think it kinda sucks

i DO appreciate how more silly the game setups for the saw traps get as the series goes along. i can also see the correlation between saw traps and dropout shows

also known as "how it's made: saw traps". really more of a recap movie than anything but not a bad one even as the main saw trap is kind of pushed to the background. insane toxic yuri potential in this

it's called saw 2 because i saw it too
honestly a really neat way to improve on the first one with the twist once again catching me off guard. i can see how these movies probably helped in the creation of zero escape

i feel like reach is sadly kneecapped there since putting a devlog up doesn't have the same reach as releasing a game on steam. i don't think itch updates you on a new release of games you have played before UNLESS there's a devlog, and even then you'd have to be subscribed to the person

honestly i think it is interesting the interaction with cycle's itch page has been lower even though i feel like more people prefer itch? but then again it doesn't update about a game's release the same way steam does
