Hi #museum people, I am trying to understand how UK museums were responding to decolonial/ postcolonial movements in the 1980s/90s. Would anyone have any leads/ reading suggestions on where to find this info?

Visited the Jameel Prize exhibition at the V&A and loved all the displays but as someone researching museums history and thinking of what an alternative museum could look like, Khandakar Ohida’s uncle’s conception of dreaming his own museum was so evocative.

Koloman Moser (1868–1918) was one of the leading artists of the Vienna Secession movement, alongside Josef Hoffman, Otto Wagner and Gustav Klimt.

In 1901, the artist was approached by the Austro-Hungarian Bank to design new banknotes. This painting marks the beginning of Moser’s creative journey.
