Additionally, "herm" is a slur. "Futa" is a translation of "hermaphrodite" (a slur). THERE'S BETTER TERMS.

Characters w/ both parts -> salmacian, dualsex, bigenital
Species w/ both parts -> monoecious, cosexed, gonosimulites

There is no reason to use the word hermaphrodite in any social setting. There is no reason for the modern scientific community to use this derogatory term for animals. Hermaphrodite has referred to intersex people for centuries.
