Hinata speaks so gently, yet with so much interest that it sends a flash of heat down Kageyama's body. He only ever hears him use this tone when they're doing one very specific thing—something they definitely shouldn't be doing here. Kageyama can feel himself grow slightly in his slacks as Hinata looks at him like that, and he hates himself for it.

he thought about going anyway, just to watch from the sidelines, but he didn’t want to be creepy or overstep. satori even offered to go with him, but ultimately he decided against it. they would meet again, he was sure of it. professional volleyball is a small world after all.
