Mike Lawler, NY congressman, thinks people should have to verify their eligibility for Medicaid quarterly! Are you kidding? Obviously this ass has no idea what goes into applying for Medicaid. I started this process over a year ago and am still waiting.

Of the 2 local SS offices (neighboring counties: both require ~1hr travel, 1 way) 1 set to close; I can’t find changes to 2nd.

@kathyhochul.bsky.social As a Democrat, Gov Hochul has decimated the #CDPAP program which no longer allows me to care for my Adult Son with Disabilities is a kick in the ass. we all pay NY taxes to keep disabled out of expensive group homes has now made me unable to care for him is unconscionable.

@governor.ny.gov You and your entire admin should be ashamed at how poorly the CDPAP-PPL transition has been. You are making disabled people and their families lives even harder than they already are. This was completely unnecessary! The customer service at PPL is a disgrace.
