I know there is still a few weeks to go but as it is the holidays and I will be busy, I would just like to say this. To anyone who stayed thank you for being there with me through thick and thin. This year has been one of great joy and great loss. People have gone and people have come into my life this year, just as how I seem to keep finding myself at the hospital. I had and lost a job, helped my hubby get a job, and despite everything I'm still here.

So to find out my partner @doodlebugdoge.bsky.social actually bought me and hubby breakfast, texted with me with my husband talking with me to calm down and not dissociate, and helping me settle bad thouhgts, makes this one of the best mornings since I was fired a little over a week ago.

So my feet have been in pain from the surgery, and from the sprain which though I can walk on it still need physio. Combine that last night with a night terror and hunger (to try and save money) and you got a bad night.

One of the reasons I went was for saving up for a second surgery for my feet. While surgeries in Canada are usually covered by OHIP, this ingrown toenail procedure, which is a bit more fear-free and with a bit better guarantee for pain management and nail not coming back, cost money.
