Think I’m gonna use this thing for comic reviews, so follow if you like random comic stuff.
The fun w/ this is inevitably derailed by a pointless sidestory, bad dialog or terrible 90s art. Still I understand why this has staying power. Brother Cain, Dark Beast! This era's obsession w/ double horizontal splash pages?! Glad to have read it but the cracks tarnish the overall experience 3.25/5

Hey @manruss.bsky.social Just picked up my deluxe edition of Prez. A worthy and wonderful presentation for a gem ahead of its time! Any chance Snagglepuss will get the same treatment? It absolutely deserves it. Who do we need to poke to make that happen?

Story is undercooked mess, trying to grapple w/ 30 ideas at once. Ends up frustrating/confusing, characterizations feel way off, unnatural dialogue. Azzarello is all or nothing LOVED Batman Damned & Luthor. Really dislike WWoman run, dislike this even more. Extra star for Lee’s incredible art 2.5/5

Tom Taylor is my guy. What a great decision to make the goofs from the usual lineup the only adults in the room. More a Revolutionaries story than a SSquad book. Great way to introduce me to a team I probably would never have read about. Love the Superman bit too. Solid, fun.

My first time reading Panosian's Red Sonja, but sadly, not my favorite run. The wrap up seems wayyy to fast for the buildup, and left me with more questions than answers. I always hate that. Artwork is expressive and frenetic. All in all, ranks very low on my personal Sonja pantheon.

Winnie-the-Pooh meets Dexter. Enjoyable, but felt like it had way more potential than what we got here, so I hope we see more. It also felt rushed at times. This could have gone on for a few trades. Would have liked them to flesh out the characters more over time.

Been ripping through omnis of Brubaker's run for the first time and just finished this one. 3rd of 5. Not quite as strong as the last two entries, but all in all still solid. I really love Cap's rogues. Crossbones, Zola, Red Skull, Sin, Zemo, so many classics!

Wonder Woman: Dead Earth was excellent. Do A Powerbomb! brought me to tears. I can’t wait to dive into this. Murder Falcon next?
