First time I’ve seen us lose at the new stadium (first test game aside, as it doesn’t count 😉) what a way and a time for that run to end too-took 4 years for that to happen at Goodison (to be fair, wasn’t a season ticket holder then & we could only go once or twice a season 🤣)

No sign of a mere flake of snow back home after a half hour delay from Lime St on the journey back - least it didn’t mean a missed connection which was something, and a few other Evertonians sharing the same looks after the game

One things for sure after that showing, no one can complain if they did get dropped for the next game - far too slow snd plodding in midfield to the point even Garner didn’t rise above it, one of those games you ask if our defence does communicate with each other at all

Iroegbunam deserves great credit for the performances since the Newcastle game, Barry took his goal well & whilst he’s not one for physically bettering centre halves he did battle&lay the ball off nicely several times including in the build up to his goal. Some nice moments from

Great win that with the team we had out - don’t think there can be many if any, complaints about anyone out there tonight for the effort put in. Course there’s things the younger players could do better but games & results like that will only be good for them and confidence

Would imagine there’s some fans reaching for the delete button for their pre-match messages 😉 good job those on the pitch didn’t give up as easily as a few on here do before a ball is kicked

Good battling performance so far, a bit more composure going forward at times and we might’ve got a second, well worked goal for us well finished by Garner

Away from Everton, the latest #StrangerThings5 - ignoring the debate about Millie Bobbie Brown and lip fillers and the actors being way too old for the characters - they did feel like a trio of set up episodes more than anything and best judged when the entire series is out

So #AvatarFireAndAsh was a good watch although the middle third of the film does feel bloated and trying to do too many things with the characters, trimming some of it down would help the film. It is still a fantastic visual experience and a worthy antagonist for Jake & co

Poor game that one, should’ve had a penalty of our own but gifted them a stupid one that eventually made the difference. Subs didn’t do much to influence the game though Beto gave it a decent try - not a lot else to say/take from the game really

Wasn’t a lot going on in the game until we gave away that penalty-not had a lot going forward, not much creativity, too many passengers in the team which you can’t afford in a game like this,Pickfords kicking been off today again slightly symptomatic of how we’ve passed it so far

That Joshua/Paul fight turned out to be as poor as expected then - larger 22 foot ring meant Jake Paul spent the majority of the time evading Joshua and when he did get close trying to drag him into the ropes or onto the canvas. Gave Joshua a glorified warm up fight¬ much else
