This was recently nominated at our book club but wasn’t selected via our randomiser process. I recalled reading one of his previous works so took a punt and bought it anyway. I’m 70 pages in and loving it. Turns out the ‘previous work’ was written by Nigel Williams…

While I’m fully aware of who he is, his music has largely remained a mystery to me. This recent acquisition suggests I’ve been missing out. My son and I listened to it on the way home from the footie on Tuesday and we both liked it.

Wow, just wow, thanks #vinylsanta. I thought twice about participating this year - living with a terminal diagnosis makes all aspects of normal life a strange anxiety-ridden experience. But my wife insisted that just a little bit of normal would be beneficial. Whoever sent me this lot, thank you.

It’s taken since February but my PIP review is complete. It’s been extended to December 2035 which is extremely ambitious to say the least. It might fly in the face of others’ experience but the person who interviewed me over the phone was kind and empathic.
