Just finished reading Percival Everett's book 'James'. Feels timely in the light of the out-of-control racism surrounding the Bad Bunny performance.Thanks to Trump, America's darkest side has once again been given free rein.

Once people saw characters like Trump and Johnson could reach the top, they knew Politics was a busted flush. They were then ‘morally’ free to use all means to enrich themselves.

The UK Media has really shown itself out of step with the electorate. No one wants chaos in politics anymore except those making money from it.

If Trump and the people around him were prepared to do sordid sex deals it stands to reason they’re prepared to do sordid business deals as well. cf. Middle East, South America, & Ukraine.

Thing is New Labour brought in Peter Mandelson in an effort to convince big business that they were a safe pair of hands knowing big business was world of sleaze and corruption.

Shouldn’t the UK Govt through diplomatic channels ask the FBI to release to them the remaining 3 million pages of docs on Epstein so they can build a complete case on Mandelson?

While the Opposition is right to slaughter the Govt over Mandelson, their hypocrisy as ever is unbound. In response Starmer should release the Russia report in full and also allow Leverson 2 to proceed.
