Some pictures from the games. I went 3-2 in my first league with this, which is honestly better than I expected. Glaring Fleshraker is just crazy explosive with all these artifacts!

Eldrazi Paradox!

What if we played Mox Opal and Kozilek's Command in the same deck?

Glaring Fleshraker acts as the mana engine for our Paradoxical Outcome combo deck. And Cryogen Relic helps make Outcome a good fair draw spell!

End of thread.

Go enjoy this deck, I'm sure you can get some cool game wins!

In my one early access game with this, I went off turn 4 against Ashlizzle but then misclicked on a Rydia trigger and decked instead of winning 😂

This means you could sideboard powerful 5s and 6s. Summon: Titan is kinda perfect as it's on-plan and enables a new dimension to Rydia. I'd imagine the board looks like this:

4 Summon: Titan
4 Torch the Tower
2 Fire Magic
2 Negate
3 Bonnie Pall

and -1 Forest +1 Island maindeck

Sideboarding

I purposely didn't build a sideboard for this yet, as I imagine you'd have to change your gameplan postboard becaus eyour deck is otherwise too fragile. So I think it works best in Bo1, but if you must, you could try to lean on the deck having 12 ramp spells

When you sacrifice Analyst, go full control. Then tap Archway for mana in response to its own trigger (as Spelunking will make it enter untapped), then return itself with it's own ability and then discard it to Rydia to start going through your deck.

Arid Archway

The problem with Rydia is that she requires you to have a card in hand in order to loot through your deck. This can be a problem when you haven'r found Nature's Rhythm.

If you have found Archway, you can get around this problem!

A druid would jump you from 5 to 6 mana and let you go off a turn ahead of schedule!
It's even an Elf, so in some desperate moments you can try hitting it with Nissa 🤠
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
Deck Choices:

Springbloom Druid is a perfect enabler here. It ramps, puts lands in graveyard, and with Spelunking + Nissa it's even a ritual!

Pretty relevant, as you can go turn 3 Spelunking -> Evolving Wilds. Turn 4 Nissa + Fabled Passage and have 5 mana, one short of Lumra.
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
This way we get to not waste any space on wincons.

Of course it doesn't work on Arena, so I made a different wincon version. Use Eden to get back Songcrafter Mage, give harmonize to Worldsoul's Rage and tap your huge Lumra to deal 20+ damage quickly!

Eventually you can then use Echoing Deeps to copy Eden, and regrow all permanents in your graveyard. This is where the neat wincondition comes into play!

We can use Escape Tunnel to make all creatures unblockable, Minstrel to make them infinitely big and Bitter Reunion to haste.

WINCON

Once we've drawn our deck, we can unlock the infinite loop with Eden, Seat of the Sanctum. With 11 of our 10 fetchlands + 2 Echoing Deeps, we can generate enough to get back an Analyst and be up one mana. We gain the mana with Nissa, and sac the lands to ge them back.
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
Doing the first Analyst without Rydia in play is actually quite common, and one of the biggest tips I'd give for playing this deck is to not prioritize getting Rydia in play over literally anything else you could do with your mana. She'll come later, and she'll do her thing.
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
You also don't always need all three pieces in play when you start going off. In the screenshot above, I didn't have Spelunking or Minstrel in play for quite a while, but I could still see so many cards with Nissa and Rydia that I was able to find it mid-combo.
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
This might sound like a lot to put together, and it is, but it helps a lot that all the pieces help you draw towards more, and that with the new Wandering Minstrel your Nature's Rhythm can find all three pieces, as well your Lumra!

Cache Grab also helps dig for Spelunking
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
When you do this, Rydia lets you churn through your deck to find your next Aftermath effect, while Nissa and Spelunking give you enough mana. Because of Nature's Rhythm with harmonize, you can keep looting for all the triggers.

After 2-3 iterations, you'll have drawn your deck!
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
Because we don't have the lifegain lands from New Capenna, it's no longer as viable to play this deck as a value ramp deck - you have to full combo

Here, the combo is resolving an Analyst or a Lumra with Nissa, Spelunking and Rydia in play

Aftermath Analyst is back!

It's Johnny Thursday, and I bring you a deck that has gone through more refinement than my last ideas - this one can actually win games!

Rydia makes the deck go completely bananas. Eden enables an infinite loop. Turn 4 kill. You gotta check this out!!

All-nighter full of drafting and a morning flight is the best way to travel to the US. Hopefully I can get some sleep on my Vegas flight and be ready for the testing house with Team Handshake Moxfield 🫡

FaB Draft Guide for High Seas!

This article covers 10 different archetypes in the set, giving some theoretical approaches to drafting and helps you develop depth in your deckbuilding.

I worked on it for the last two weeks, and it contains basically everything I know about the format. Enjoy!

Cloud is also great when going off, searching up another job select equipment and triggering Crown twice, so if you equip him with both you also draw 4 cards on top of that! (mana neutral).

Eventually you have enough equipment that Machinist's Arsenal + trample kills them.
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
So now all your For Mirrodon Equipments, which makes two creatures will make 2 mana and draw two cards. Best ritual ever!
By making some black mana, you can also have them make 1 mana and draw 3 cards or be mana neutral draw 4.
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
This means you can sacrifice whichever creatures you have in play to get enough mana to go search up Crown. This one is also absurd with Firion, costing 0 to equip for the copy, and a single black for another equip. Every time you use Lotus Ring, you draw 1-2 cards.
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
With Firion in play, you cast Lotus Ring.
Lotus Ring is kind of absurd when the copy costs just 1 to equip, and Firion grants everything haste so every creature you play can be used immediately!
simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social
Firion Storm!

It's time for another Johnny Thursday, and today I present a crazy, dumb and decidedly non-competitive deck.
Firions ability is kinda broken with For Mirrodin. But with the right equipment, you can actually storm off and draw your deck!
