I've actually been a Radiation Hormesis believer for a number of years now.

Was reading the wikipedia page on plate tectonics because I was bored.

Turns out the primary force moving plates isn't mantle convections, but ridges pushing plates away. It also might be subduction pulling plates around. We don't actually entirely know
