Telling Ukrainians, as some Westerners do, that Ukr resists Ru's invasion mainly because the West forced or tricked them into it is as outrageously offensive and as ridiculously stupid as telling a woman she resists rape not to protect herself and her dignity but to conform to societal expectations.
