The Immigrant Trust Act requires public schools, health care facilities, libraries, and shelters to adopt policies to help immigrants feel safe. It also requires law enforcement agencies to submit reports on their interaction with immigration authorities.
sjnowindivisible.bsky.social
The Act protects the personal information of NJ immigrants by limiting what data can be collected. It separates law enforcement from federal immigration enforcement. It limits NJ involvement in federal immigration systems. It eliminates caveats that deny some legal protections to immigrants.
sjnowindivisible.bsky.social
The Immigrant Trust Act establishes protections for immigrants interacting with government agencies. The enforcement of federal immigration law is the responsibility of the federal government and falls outside the scope of state, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies.

Silly Jimmy Kimmel. He should have just called for all homeless people to be killed and he’d still have a job.
