A lot made, understandly, of Napoli's depleted midfield. McTominay and Elmas both deserve pass marks but when Buongiorno, Rrahmani and Beukema are all fit and play together the Partenopei always have a better chance of winning. Neres man of the match.

Napoli rewarded for their persistence. Hojlund positioned perfectly again. Neres has been outstanding.
December 7, 2025 at 9:22 PM
Neres absolutely terrorising the Juve defence. McTominay, in another unfamiliar position, unlucky not to score on two separate occasions. Elmas decent enough in a makeshift midfield without Lobotka, Anguissa and Gilmour. Napoli deservedly in front. Juve rearguard inadequate yet again.

Every victory is an epic struggle but Sampdoria find a way past Carrarese at Marassi. Credit to Massimo Coda, a great header and well taken penalty. Liam Henderson with a wonderful long range goal. Samp still in the bottom three but can't argue with a win especially at home.
December 7, 2025 at 8:36 PM
Tremendous start for Napoli. Neres instrumental again. Hojlund in the right place to finish.
December 7, 2025 at 7:53 PM
Liam Henderson's brilliant strike into the top corner the highlight for Sampdoria in a half of woeful defending. Former Samp striker Fabio Abiuso with both goals for Carrarese. Pafundi again the most lively for Samp, 2-2 at the break. Live and free on @destinationcalcio.bsky.social

Reo-Coker and now Deeney on Paramount's coverage of Serie A. The only option the mute button. It shouldn't be difficult to find someone that knows something, anything, about Italian football. Although almost all punditry now is childlike, self-evident, biased and banal. Simply npt worth watching.

Fair play to Hearts for at least making it interesting. Can't judge Nancy on one game. Celtic will eventually prevail but might take longer than expected.
December 7, 2025 at 4:58 PM
Very comfortable win in the end for Inter. A big gulf in class between the Nerazzurri and Como. Despite all the millions the Lariani still a long way from being able to compete with the top sides in Serie A.
December 6, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Fiorentina still without a win after 14 games. Astonishing really. Vanoli not the coach to turn it around. Still plenty of games left but looks increasingly likely the Viola will spend the rest of the season trying to avoid relegation.

Thank goodness it's all over. England, predictably, get another relatively easy draw. You would think it was rigged... Rio absolutely hopeless, next time get someone who understands it all and who can enuniciate properly. After all that we still don't know where the games will be played.

Not the worst group for Scotland but definitely could have been better. Haiti shouldn't be underestimated even though everyone will expect a win. Morocco the crucial game. Time to finally make history and advance from the group stage.

Conte's tactics worked perfectly. Napoli pinned Roma into specific areas, pressed, defended and countered well. Neres with a brilliant goal. Cristante should have been dismissed for an awful tackle on McTominay. The Partenopei back on top with Milan in what looks a wide open title race.

Devastating counter, wonderful one two between Hojlund and Neres with the Brazilian remaining calm to finish well.
Neres more than justifying his selection again for Conte. The one player that can offer something completely different for the Partenopei.

Always had mixed feelings about this kind of thing. Kind of embarrassing on one hand but completely understand the frustration of the ultras on the other. It's not as if it's really going to inspire the Fiorentina players though.

Sampdoria's slow demise continues. Another defeat against a probable relegation rival. Sideways, roundabout but rarely going anywhere in another frustrating game. Another January overhaul required but the pattern remains the same. Second bottom of Serie B, simply not good enough.
November 30, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Scott McTominay pivotal again for Napoli in the Champions League. Obvious to point out he's been more closely marked and played out of position at various points this season but the Scot was excellent again tonight.
Anyone who thinks he's not performed well hasn't watched him closely this term.
November 25, 2025 at 9:54 PM
At last Sampdoria grind out a win to move off the bottom of Serie B. Survival at all costs, regardless of performances, is the only objective. Great to see club legend Attilio Lombardo, who is back on the coaching staff, celebrating at the end. Just two league victories all season though.

Nobody who has actually watched Matias Soule before this season would call him underrated. He was brilliant at Frosinone. Another excellent goal against Cremonese. His continued good form will be crucial if Roma are to stay among the leaders in Serie A.
November 23, 2025 at 4:41 PM
A dismal second half from a Napoli perpesctive. Great Scamacca goal and plenty of other Atalanta chances. Still unsure about the sit back and break strategy Conte favours, but undoubtedly an excellent opening period. The Partenopei back on top of Serie A temporarily. Not bad for a club in crisis.
