Saving this one for monday.

And Jessica Chastain as Allie.

Ethan Hawke as Virgil and Leonardo DiCaprio as Everett. I think Leo would be amazing in a real western.

Another great episode! And I agree with everything you guys said.
Really looking forward to the next one!

Woo-hoo! Looking forward to it. And good for you, time off is always great.

Yeah, when is that episode coming? It has been ahile now :)

Supposedly Eden is really good and she is supposed to be great in it. Not a sexy role at all, but an acting one. But it has not come here yet, so I have only seen the trailer.

No cheating. Post your lock screen.

I’ve always had the same one since my first iPhone.

Great episode, great talk!
I am definitely more on Pax's side this time. Big Willie Nelson fan, but would still only give the movie a 2.5. Not sure what it was, but I think Pax was on the right track. Great Gary Busey. And for the record Red Headed Stranger is my favorite Willie album.

(5) Probably should have tagged @michaelmay.bsky.social in this whole thing. Gonna watch Barbarosa this weekend so I can catch up on the next episode.

(4) Not sure I am making any sense at all. Anyway, I like this movie, I like the overall feel and pace. It feels like a meditation on life, time and friendship. And considering the state Sam was in when he made it is a bit of a masterpiece. For me the ultimate Billy movie is The Kid from 2019.

(3) Billy does not want to move on, he wants to be who he has always been. But he has moved on, and is fighting it, and therefore he is stuck too. He talks about going to Mexico and these things he used to do, but he gets nothing done, because that is not really him anymore.

(2) Gonna see if I can explain this so it makes sense. The way I see the movies is that Pat wants to move on, but he is incapable of it, and is instead stuck with who he is. That is why he took the job, but since he is kinda stuck with who he is, he is just kind of lost in limbo.

(1) Back from vacation! Seems like I got some episodes to catch up to. Thanks for this one, great talk, really good episode. Really happy Pax liked the Appaloosa novel, I love it. You should read all three, they are really good, and even though they are free standing books, they also are kinda one.

I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving.

There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later.

They. Are. Breaking. The. Law.

Just got out of the theatre. I didn’t have any expectations and I really liked it. And even if you took out John Wick completely, it would still be a great movie.
Here’s hoping Ana de Armas continues.

Great episode, thank you! Really good talk and I agreed on everything.
I felt that bringing in Julia for the ending setpiece in Fallout was such a great way to bring everything together. I will treat that as the end of the series. And that way Ilsa lives forever too.

Oh, I need to see this!!

Agree on the bottom two but the first MI is much higher on mine. But great list!! At least once a week I fully agree with yours.

It is almost like Rebecca Ferguson knew something we didn’t.

Fully agree and spot on about Dead Reckoning. I was just thinking that now I like that movie more.
