Knock Em Dead on the other hand is brilliantly crafted start to finish. Both art and writing take a giant leap forward in this engrossing street level mystery. The colourist deserves credit as well, adding to the atmosphere of this definitely not for kids tale.

Pt 1 Bitter Fruit
Pt 2 Knock ‘Em Dead
By Sharon Wright, Randy DuBurke, & Pablo Marcos

Dinah sheds her superhero duds to return to the two fisted detective stories that suit her best. Bitter Fruit is a good start but feels a bit disjointed.

Incredible Hulk 389-393 (1992)
War & Pieces

Starts with a fill in featuring the always welcome Man Thing & The Glob, then settles into an action packed 3 parter guesting X-Factor 2.0. Examines the uneasy place Hulk & Rick have when allowed to the Pantheon (who are NOT the Avengers).
