Visited the relatively new spot Steak Cleveland at 2179 W. 11th St. in Tremont and met staff Briana Fogle and assistant manager Benita Alveranga. Opened Aug 2024 by Hangry Brands, the spot serves quality steaks with a simple all-in-one menu. More info: steakcle.com

Loved meeting Ashley Wischmeier at the I’m From Cleveland event in the Flats. She lives in West Park, performs with Pickup-Stix Stiltwalking, works at Agora & Jacobs Pavilion, is a doula, mom of two, nursing student aiming to be a midwife, and a true Cleveland friendly spirit.

So great to have Kathryn Clusman and Dr. Jason Hanley from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at the MLK Jr. Branch. They helped bring Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo to speak in the area. Jason’s music knowledge and his book We Rock! make him a go-to for music programs across the city.

Visited Video Game Connection in Cleveland and met owner Mike Gedeon, who’s closing his shop on Halloween after 30+ years. From living in the basement to building a retro gaming haven, his passion & perseverance made his video game shop a local legend. Come visit one last time.
