I think everyone has approximately the same amount of conspiracy energy, and if you don’t dissipate it decoding taylor swift lyrics or debugging linux drivers, it inevitably comes out as beliefs about faked moon landings

Modified an M&M dispenser to give me candy whenever I merge a Github PR. Arduino + MQTT + DC motor.

Hot tip: give your kid a uuid as their name:
* works in every language
* saves time arguing about naming
* no issues with mistaken identity

Thanks Claude!

Got fed up that the third(?) checklist/todo app I've used have become enshittified.

Vibe coded my own macOS/iOS app combo in a an hour or two. Should have done this a long time ago. Supports sync-ish. YMMV.

Just watched LA Takedown, the proto-Heat from 1989.

Pretty much exact same story but not nearly as good. Fascinating to compare the filmmaking.

I was wondering when there was last a song on the Billboard top 10 that I really liked.

Downloaded the billboard data from github.com/mhollingshea...
then compared against my last.fm history.

Apparently it was Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana released in 1992 (played >20 times by me).
