I didn't have any photos to hand bc I haven't painted any in ages, but Death Guard kits have a great variety of horrible textures to play with. Quite fun. I find the default scheme a little dull but as Vinny shows above you can make them quite colourful and vibrant if you're of a mind

Alternatively and along the same lines, tyranids have lots of cool biological textures to play with, are quite approachable but can also look stunning (much like lizardmen, again)

So having briefly skimmed your stuff and seeing the coloury lizardmen, I think you could do some smoking stuff with the Chaos Space Marines line, especially the stuff with demonic mutations. I got quite experimental with my Possessed (below) and I reckon you can do something incredible

A happy lil bomb!
I had a much crisper finer lined face on one side of the bomb and had a much more awkward time on the other side, so I had to correct and ended up with a chunkier overall face. Super *&^%ing good for my first try tho, eh?
I am going to paint so many more rockits

Tbh I spent the last couple days playing space marine, had some wicked weather which meant my head hurt and I couldn't prime, so we're just prepping the last few Snagga Boyz.

Hell yes! What a lovely purple-pink gradient. Goffs being the mean, traditionalist pigs that they are my orks would never let a weird coloured squig like that grow to any size.

I plan to get another box of these eventually, so I'll get another crack at the sculpt. The squighog boyz are a bit complex but have such immaculate vibes. Think I'll get a beastboss on squigasaur eventually, he looks like a good time.
