As a high-functioning autistic person, I've met many low-functioning neurotypicals. Funny how they don't get labels, though. It seems normal is normal, no matter how dysfunctional it is, as long as it applies to the majority. #neurodiversity #labels #highfunctioningautism

I've been thinking about lost loves recently, men who dumped me for being 'too intense' etc. I know now that I am neurodivergent but at the time they judged me according to what they thought I should be. If only they could just SEE me. #authenticself #therealme #neurodiversity #loveonthespectrum

I had a therapist ask me what I would want my life to be if she had a magic wand to make it so. She then said that dream life vision was my new goal. The problem is that to achieve that goal, I would have to be cured of my chronic illnesses and be 20 years younger. #toxicpositivity #MentalHealth

A downside of autism is that I love too hard. A fatal flaw, apparently. Now I avoid relationships - I'm tired of being misunderstood and rejected. I wonder, though, if my exes who chose 'easier' relationships may regret giving up on me.
