It's crazy how much little changes add up when developing characters and stories. Neither Andrew nor his mother are quite the same characters from when they were first created. But what hasn't changed is Delilah still loves her little boy! lol

I'm not much of an anime watcher, but I actually liked Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.
My brother and I joked it was the anime where "nothing happens" because it's pacing is very slow, but honestly I really liked it for that. I don't like how fast movies/tv try to go nowadays.

Fun fact: While Andrew/Trace has a secret identity, Zayra/Nova does not and her superhero name is more of a formality than anything.

I've been using a lot of photo references to help me find the vanishing point. Then Clip Studio Paints perspective tool to draw in line with that vanishing point and change up the buildings/details. I hope to get to the point where I don't need ref images all the time, but that's how I practice X3

My process for creating Retrace so far has been jump from writing, visual development then character design then world building, then writing again ect. I never finish one section cause it works better to develop them in unison, but I feel like I'm barely moving because of it. lol
