There's no evidence that they DIDN'T steal the eggs of other dinosaurs. But there's no evidence that they did either so the name's not changing anytime soon. But the general consensus is that they probably ate a mix of lizards, insects, and plants.

Yeah. It's been suggested before by some that the name should be changed. But at this point it's pretty much set. But because of this misunderstanding, it's become one of my favorite dinosaurs and there are quite a few different types of oviraptors.

I cut the prologue of my dinosaur story completely. The more I think about it, the more I want to let others explore the world as the story unravels.

The rules will be established as they go, for the moment.

...Until I think I need a prologue again.

Every time a new dinosaur is identified, I want to add them into my setting. Just to have more then just what's mainstream. But I figure if I do sequels to the story I can always add them then.

I started writing down short little dinosaur profiles for the different dinosaurs that appear in my story and I have gone through and added short real-life facts alongside lore related to the story.

I know I'm spitting into the void here. But one of the things I've noticed while researching dinosaur stuff for my book is how... Stuck in the 90's and early 2000's a lot of dinosaur media is.

I am well aware that my story is a work of fiction. I'm not trying to pitch it as anything more then that. But I am still aimming to at least use updated and more recent information.
