As you might know I've been using some of my store of thread bits with my scrap denim patches. I hate waste and have accumulated a large bag of thread ends or Orts.

Beneath and below in shallow and deep an amorphous tide turns, and creatures creep. It lies to swirl while shapes unful, what halts to cease with weedy seas as windy leaves wafts its weave all beneath the waves it breathes.

As we move towards Samhain, the connection between the cauldron and the cycle of life and death serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of all things

In Celtic tradition, cauldrons can also represent the womb & the Infinite Divine Feminine.
