Another pet peeve about popular rope trends is that there's a subset of people who insist on tying naked bodies... 1) you BETTER be diligent about washing your rope, 2) you need to still be able to tie over clothes, none of this "it's too hard" that I've heard

There's "being objectified" and then there's "being OBJECTified" and I'm not sure I've felt more bliss than when I am turned into a literal object

If your expectations better match reality, you won't get as hung up on misconceptions -- even misconceptions from misleading models of hypnosis (like those that have holdovers in how they withhold information from subjects).
And generally, you will go deeper the more you explore. 4/4

I've been going to hypnokink cons for a really long time (13 years...) and I just really wish I could get excited about them instead of the insane anxiety I get over travel, teaching, health, being social, etc.
I know that (God willing everything goes OK) I'll settle once I'm there but bleh.
