I was diagnosed with endometriosis and told to avoid soy as it mimics estrogen, and I overproduce it. I was prescribed hydrocodone and birth control. I was told no more cigarettes. I fucking ove tofurky. And camels.

A life saving cystectomy in 2017 and University Upstate surgeons used a lateral incision so that the scar would not give the appearance of a c-section. I was diagnosed as infertile and grateful they took the consideration. In 2023, I had a lap hysterectomy, as in 2017, at 30, I was "too young."
