Wow. It wasn't bad enough to be caught and dragged by the hair at (average) 8 feet per second, you had to lose some of your hair, too. Insult to injury. I hope you weren't too badly hurt.

Metaphorically, I feel like we're all an instant away from getting dragged by unfeeling machinery these days.

We have lost Mark Knoller, whose funeral was held today. He was a good journalist and radio man and had a great memory for White House and presidential details and stats. May his memory be a blessing.

15 years ago today, I had a #PeriacetabularOsteotomy, a procedure that corrects hip dysplasia. I had the other hip fixed in August 2011. Today, both hips feel fine. My thanks to Dr. Millis and team at Boston Children's Hospital, surgery and ortho at BIDMC, and my partner. ❤️ #PAO #HEDS #hypermobility
