Hey Kinfolks!

I teach sex education for the culture. This account focuses exclusively on Black sexual justice, politics, history, pleasure, and cultural commentary. I also connect my kink folks with reproductive resources whenever possible.

-Tia Savonne
*Like Monaleo said, "all the nonBlacks to BACK"! I'm not in the business of having hoodoo conversations with folks who don't have ancestral and lived cultural ties to the practice. Don't piss me off.
This verse reminds me of my great grandma calling me saying, she had a fish dream and me telling her to call someone else because the way my tubes are tied that ain't got nothing to do with me! So I'd love to hear about what hoodoo practices y'all have witness in your communities and families.
These bitches my kids, I been dreamin' 'bout fish (huh)
Black bitch, but the purse Murakami (Murakami)
These black-ass roots go beyond me (go beyond me)
You never supposed to put your purse on the ground
But I'm slammin' this coin purse on the concrete
Happy #HoodooHeritageMonth

Hoodoo Heritage Month is a month-long observance of the Hoodoo folk tradition, a Black American spiritual practice with roots in African traditions, observed in October. Now I don't think Monaleo's, "Sexy Soulaan" could've come at t a better time!
Hey Kinfolks!
I love y'all real bad, and I want y'all to be around for as long as I can get you. In order for us to have pleasurable sex lives we have to care about our sexual and reproductive health. They are intrinsically connected.
Whatever your choice, do what brings you joy. As for me, it’s getting cold, and like my nana always asks, “why that baby ain’t got no coat on?” Lol I kid I kid, it truly depends on the time of year. For instance, I love a personal petting after a fresh wax and a shower.
The natural punani mirrors a lot of the language from the natural hair movement. While some simply don't want to be bothered with keeping up a clean shaven look others may be making a stance of self acceptance one strand at a time.
The only president Bush I recognize is me in the winter time 🫡. However, that’s not to say that pubic pruning isn’t political; because I’d be looking you in your face and lying.
Every era ushers in a new bush board of trims, bald fades, and personalized designs. Recently, this is crossing gender lines which highlights shifting gender norms. Our personal upkeep is our prerogative however we must acknowledge the influences by gender scripts, consumerism, and culture.
Fatphobia doesn't just rob fat folks of pleasure; it ensures that all who hold it in their hearts rob ourselves of shame-free sex. Pleasure is political and when we decolonize our desire we tap in to sexual resistances in a way that bring everyone closer to sexual satisfaction.
Rest in power, Miss Major. Your life is a testament to endurance, brilliance, and the possibility of change. Your legacy lights the path for so many. We continue, because you showed us how.
Oh my apologies. I’ll see if I can add the retroactively and moving forward
My dream is to live in a world where Black men grow old and don't have to perform their masculinity through overt sexuality to be seen as people.

What are y'all's favorite D'Angelo songs?
Honoring Michael ‘D’Angelo’ Archer 🕊️

Today I want to take a moment to honor the life and legacy of D'Angelo. He was such a gifted artist, taken from us too soon. I uplift his artistry while reckoning with the harms he faced in this world
I'm think about a shoe fetish but specifically for Jordans or something. Maybe someone who loves a good gold name plate (or name bamboo hoop) at a flag of ownership. Oh oh or someone who loves acrylic nails... bonus points if it's the curved ones!
So now I'm asking y'all. Have y'all ever experienced a cultural kink? Do you have one? Can you think of what some fun ones could be?
#TalkMeThroughItTuesday I have nothing to back this up but I KNOW that there has to be some Black specific kinks out there. There are fetishes that focus on hair so why wouldn't there be for Black hair styles, you know?
3) Naming colonial violence not as “history” but as ongoing
4) Learning and unlearning in the service of justice

Let us honor the stewards, survivors, and visionaries today and always.
On this Indigenous Peoples’ Day, I commit to:
1) Centering Indigenous voices and leadership in conversations about reproductive justice
2) Supporting (by listening, donating, partnering) Indigenous-led birth and healing initiatives

(Continued...)
Hey kinfolk! With everything going on in the world we need to rally around each other! If you got it and care to share, let’s show up for Alexa and her family.

During DV Awareness Month, remember:
Not all survivors can “just leave.”
Not all safety plans involve police.
And not all abuse is visible.

This month, and every month, remember:
Believe survivors.
Center the most marginalized.
Work toward collective safety.
Abuse is about power and control.

And when you live under systems that already criminalize your survival (like being Black, queer, undocumented, disabled, or in the informal economy) those same systems become the abuser’s tools.

A while ago I was told that someone traveled to another state for care (abortion is illegal in TN) and they went to an anti abortion center. This was a terrible experience for them as they were misled and emotionally coerced the entire time. For that reason I want to share how to spot an AAC.
The Reproductive Justice framework doesn’t change because you don’t like someone. Policing the womb due to paternalism & policing the womb due to hatred is STILL policing the womb. It’s not RJ as long as they’re “respectable”. Pregnant people are under attack & the allies sound a lot like the ops.
