I’m not sure what you’re referring to but it sounds like my product line of Stancil stencils is about to take off!

Agreed!

You're right, de-baathification worked out great!
January 7, 2026 at 10:53 PM
You suggested that making the world a better place isn't easy, which is an unforgivable crime to some.

Xanax is way more fun

Things aren’t going well when you find yourself defending someone by getting pedantic about the varieties of perversion

It seems like around 2020, Chatterton, ostensibly a grown adult, realized for the first time that there are some self-righteous people in the world and has decided to generalize that to the entire Left and write about it in convoluted prose for the rest of his life. That’s my impression anyway.
November 14, 2025 at 12:09 AM
Is it misogyny? It seems like this person just has very little trust in a powerful institution and you’re shifting the ground to make it about how you personally are oppressed by their skepticism?

What a time to write a piece arguing that the issue with Trump’s opponents is that they have moral clarity!
November 13, 2025 at 9:34 PM
Does this mean that they’re giving up on Chicago for now or is this just a handful of jerks going to charlotte?
November 13, 2025 at 9:32 PM
I think this was different petition

They're claiming racial gerrymandering since partisan gerrymandering is otherwise allowed by scotus. I don't know how this will interact with the voting rights act case scotus is currently deciding.
November 13, 2025 at 8:06 PM
So glad that Biden realized how absolutely kick ass it would be to make the guy who didn't get the scotus seat into the AG. Sure showed those republicans!

Maybe @notalawyer.bsky.social or @michaelhobbes.bsky.social made this point, but NYT views their entire mission as holding the left to account.

They bought into a certain mythos of recent American history that they couldn’t see past. Like that Ford was a statesman for pardoning Nixon.

Whereas when Brett Kavanaugh received these emails, he took writing pointers.
November 13, 2025 at 6:03 PM
This guy’s parent were apparently liberals. I don’t want to blame them for him but can you imagine?
November 13, 2025 at 3:02 PM
I was already cynical about these things but pretty wild to see all of the least likeable elites alive had an email correspondence with Jeffry Epstein.
November 13, 2025 at 3:00 PM
It requires a serious and likely permanent investment so a great way to filter out the uncommitted.
November 10, 2025 at 4:43 PM
I think the standing analysis comes down: do we need an excuse to kick this case?
November 10, 2025 at 3:03 PM
There are some who say that murder isn’t a big deal. Care to respond?
November 10, 2025 at 3:02 PM
Scratch that, I was thinking of a different and likely also insane 5th Circuit case.
November 10, 2025 at 2:57 PM
I think this is the one where Judge Ho just declared that mail in ballots lead to fraud as if that’s an established and irrefutable fact.
November 10, 2025 at 2:55 PM
This could be good or really bad right? I like that they’re reviewing an insane decision but could also just extend a bad rule nationwide?
November 10, 2025 at 2:52 PM
I agree with you but isn’t there a sliver of hope that they’re reviewing a decision that came out the wrong way?
