we have an entirely new drivetrain that’s been sitting around collecting dust for years, and when i offer to go get it fixed myself or have him teach me, the idea is immediately shot down. sorry for the rant, i’m just trying my hardest to get out of this shitty situation

the car is in his name but i pay for everything on it, (insurance, gas, new parts, etc.) and he’s said for YEARS he would rebuild the drivetrain that’s lugged this poor thing over 100K miles. when driving home from work the other night, suddenly the entire front axle SNAPPED. fuck me bro
