The U.S. Elections Assistance Commission (EAC) is taking public comment until Oct 20, 2025 regarding requiring all voters to provide documentation of citizenship to register to vote. Non-citizen voting is vanishingly rare & millions stand to be disenfranchised.

Harvard said it would protect its rights, and yesterday it made good on that promise. It filed suit against the Trump administration in a broad defense of academic freedom and the right to federal funds without puppet strings attached. My write-up at the link in comments.
