just occurred to me that nintendo did what they always do by announcing something that sucks (pokopia on key card) and then the very next day cover it up with something people will go crazy over (mario movie trailer). genuinely this has happened so many times I have to believe it's on purpose

this implicates that they could do the same thing for Pokemon Gen 10, and if they do that and the games sell anywhere near as well as S/V or Sw/Sh (which I don't doubt they will), that's the point of no return. key cards will be normalized. I don't want to jump the shark, but it's a ral possibility.

3 years ago I read this arc in the manga and it became one of my favorite arcs in any manga ever. it's kind of funny; I was 16 at the time, same as denji in the movie. getting to see this animated now, being so far removed from my circumstances back then... I know exactly why I loved it. still hits.

for all intents and purposes, the game has been completed. pokedex complete, all mega stones acquired (minus delphox and chesnaught), all TMs and colorful screws acquired, and I got the shiny charm thanks to my boy dragonite.
