Milano shouldn't work so hard. She deserves a day off for chilling in the park. It's frustrating when there's a game you want to play, but it wasn't brought over to the US and buying the original is... pricey. Back in 1999 there weren't games casual games, and Milano's Odd Job Collection offered a rare change of pace in gameplay. It was originally released in Japan on the PlayStation in 1999, and now XSEED has localized and updated the game so English-speaking audiences can experience it.

Despite it's unique look and feel, Skate Story isn't one of those indies that's gonna change the world. The game is fine, but once you get through the game's nine sections in the six hours or so to do it, there isn't much to have you go back except to start the game over again.

If this were Romancing SaGa 2 or SaGa Frontier, I’d be telling you right now to buy it, but this game is hard to recommend because it's the worst version of a great game.

Octopath Traveler 0 has a lot to it. The "main" parts of the story, primarily the antagonists discussed here, are some of the best in the series and will keep people invested along with the Animal Crossing-like charm you get from restoring Wishvale, but once you get past it, it's all really just... there, and getting to its real, yet satisfying ending will take some effort. The end result is a huge game that definitely boasts more value than it's $50 asking price.

Kirby Air Riders is one of the deepest arcade racing experiences on the Switch 2 and gives you a lot of content for $70. Masahiro Sakurai’s determination to have everything here without any DLC coming later means you get served so much game you’ll be playing this game for years, still unlocking collectibles and mastering the gameplay.

Demonschool is a great strategy-RPG that clearly takes a lot of notes from its influences such as the Devil Summoner series, though admittedly it lacks a bit of the gameplay depth that those games have with regards to character stats. However, what Demonschool lacks in complexity it more than makes up for in its visual style, entertaining dialogue, and satisfying combat.
