God bless Conor McDavid. There are endless examples of Canadian players who just want to take the tax break and play with no media scrutiny in Vegas or Florida and he leaves money on the table to stay in EDMONTON (no offense Edmonton).

American political discourse is so pathetic & performative across the spectrum. An assassination happens and all anyone wants to do is berate each other about insufficient or overly effusive condolences offered. I guess when a society can’t solve a single real problem this is what you’re left with.

I would say the Con party member base wants to pivot right on social issues (if that’s what you want to call the grab bag of chemtrails, 5G, residential school trutherism, trans hostility), but I think their voting base are still on the free enterprise coalition cut my effing taxes wavelength.

I guess I don’t know what type of stories you’re referring to, but the most typical in the genre are like: SOUTH KOREA BIRTHRATE PLUMMETS, POPULATION TO HALVE BY 2070 and then discussion about why no one is having kids. I would say there is no reason to muddy any of that discourse with Elon.

When I’ve read about St Paul gang activity over time l’ve often had the impression that it’s dumb kids doing stupid things that occasionally have tragic results. In Minneapolis, the gang culture seems more serious and deeply entrenched. STP would also appear to have a less effed police dept culture.

Seems like Kahlon is one of the only ministers that Eby has any trust in so has to move him to whichever file is the most important in the moment. A cabinet shuffle after 9 months when there was already turnover in important roles after the election gives me micromanager vibes from Eby.
