Known for embracing animal causes, Mutt Lynch is hosting a benefit for SNAP Cats tomorrow (Oct. 24) from 4-7 p.m., at its tasting room, 9050 Windsor Rd., just off the Windsor Town Green.

Expect music, raffles, prizes for creative Pawloween costumes and winemaker Brenda Lynch's small-lot varietals
(Chard, Pinot, Zin, Cab) and blends.

All proceeds from the event (including $10 admission/first glass of wine and raffle tickets) will go directly to SNAP Cats to help us save and care for special needs cats -- see you there!
NO TRICKS JUST TREATS!

For the second year in a row, an award-winning Sonoma County winery is making it easy to celebrate the first holiday of the season and support our rescue.
...as long as they don’t get in his face. His left eye has been enucleated and should not cause any problems for the rest of his life. Ozzy II will fit into any household either as an only cat or as an addition to your cat family.
If you’re interested in adopting Ozzy II please fill out an adoption application at www.snapcats.org/category/ado.... Thanks.

WHITE CAT WEDNESDAY!

Ozzy II (because we already had an Ozzy) is 3 years 5 months-old and sponsored by Mayra Sanchez. SNAP Cats rescued Ozzy II from Doha, Qatar. Ozzy II is an absolute LOVE BUG! He can never get enough attention or pets. Ozzy II is great with other cats...
Notices one CH kitty trying to keep up with the rest. Not doing well. Mia takes her in. Names her Blue.

Abandoned cats start getting adopted by neighbors and guests at a nearby Airbnb. Yay!
Blue is overlooked, though, due to, well, CH. Boo! Which sucks because, according to Mia, “she’s really sweet, lovely female kitty, Siamese and Tabby mix, very food motivated, but also easily creates that Oxytocin link!”
Gotta admire the “Oxytocin” note.

Mia can’t continue to foster Blue due to health reasons. Her vet suggested she contact us…

And the rest is history.

Mia is bringing Blue here today at about 1:30 pm. You can watch their arrival on our YouTube Kitten Room webcam at www.youtube.com/@SnapcatsOrg...
Thank you, Mia, for not only taking care of Blue, but all of the other abandoned kitties in your neighborhood!

Long story short: Neighbor feeding ferals. Not fixing them. Dementia worsens. Sons take her away. All cats, domesticated and feral, abandoned.

Enter Mia. TNR veteran. Sets up feeding stations to contain cats at absent neighbor’s house. Starts trapping and fixing semi-ferals.
Sasha gets along great with the other kitties and uses the box 100% of the time.
Sasha’s 1 year-old and sponsored by Robin Texeira. SNAP Cats rescued Sasha from Solano County, CA. Sasha’s a very sweet, gentle kitten. She loves attention and being held (for a while, then not so much). Sasha’s going to be on the petite side when full-grown, but there’s still a lot of her to love.
Once they were here for a while, the two de-bonded (is that a word?), and Bertie was adopted in November 2021.
Bea is the typical, playful cat who can’t seem to run out of energy. Bea LOVES to chase the spring toy. Keeps her entertained for hours. Bea will make a wonderful addition to any family who has a cat or two about her age.
If you don't have a cat or two, we can also help with that!

If you’re interested in Bea please fill out an adoption application at www.snapcats.org/category/ado.... Thanks.

WHITE CAT WEDNESDAY!

Yes, she's still here! Bea(utiful) is 4 years 4 months-old and sponsored by Leah Hennen. SNAP Cats rescued Bea from Oakland, CA. Bea does not have any special needs because she came to us bonded with her brother, Bertie, who is a dwarf kitty with ataxia.
Baby Goot was born to a stray mom in Sydney’s and Denzel’s backyard. Once they noticed Baby Goot’s special needs, they emailed us…

And the rest is history.
Here’s a video of Baby Goot - youtube.com/shorts/KjRiD....

Thank you, Sydney and Denzel, for taking care of Baby Goot and getting him here to SNAP Cats!
