Wasn't that all before inheritance tax for farmers was introduced, tho? We've already heard that Daveed is not at all happy about it (altho Ben, who had little chance of getting the farm anyway, was more pragmatic about it), so maybe now they are looking at it again to work around that?

So, after last night and tonight's I have many thoughts/opinions. Let's just say I'm glad Ciara was found because Emmurr was all set to abandon the search as soon as she saw George.

2025 started on a high with lots of hikes, and me veing at my fittest for years. And then I broke my leg. Here's to 2026 and hopefully getting back to that level of fitness so I can tackle new adventures, hopefully without injury!!

I just watched that too while my mum was catching up. Theo is a slightly ridiculous pantomime baddy though. He's Rob in that he's coercively controlling Todd but he may as well also be twirling an imaginary moustache

Apparently not yet. According to my mum, his character is 'a really nasty piece of work and needs dealing with'. Her belief is that he'll be out of the cast in a dramatic fashion on Christmas Day. So 2 big Christmas soap plots for that actor then!

Genuinely furious with George for pulling that stunt with his dog. That sort of thing can get a dog confiscated or worse, put down through no fault of their own. But of course he only thinks of getting one over on his perceived enemies. Idiot.

As awful as that interaction between Fallon and George was (and it was pretty awful), it wasn't as bad as where I thought it was going to go, thankfully. But the women of Ambridge should steer clear of him. Misogynist's gonna misogynist.

Still genuinely baffled that the BBC #Civilisations series that has told the story of the fall of 4 civilisations through artefacts in the @britishmuseum.bsky.social has not made any mention of how the museum obtained those treasures.

The George and Amber sounds like a pub.
I don't know why, but it sounds like it'd probably be the kind of pub that has monthly Peaky Blinders theme nights, and has decor that makes it look like a mid-2000s hotel lobby, with lots of purple velvet everywhere.
