Selected a nearly identical healthcare plan as last year and its significantly more. Emergency deductible is higher by about $2000. I picked a slightly better dental plan at about $5 more as a treat and better vision, $2 more. Jumped from $89 total last year to $141 this year per check. Violence.

I fucking love post rock. You get tracks titled "The Ocean Ceases to Be" or "Planetary Extinction Event" and then they are ACTUALLY these emotionally devastating pieces with chord progressions with this airy, hopeless resonance and percussion that feels like it's marching to the end of everything.

AI data centers existing unchallenged seems like a problem for the people to resolve by various means. It's really hit an "us or them" level of urgency with this shit. The same is true for ICE. Being an obedient, voting citizen doesn't seem to be the solution to these problems.

Late night, racing thought, insomnia fueled shout-out to my 5th grade teacher for suggesting I get tested for ADD(wasn't referred to as ADHD really then). Absolutely nobody ever listened to her advice. Oh well. Time to dwell on everything and not sleep because I'm hyper focusing on my heartbeat.
