Does anyone else’s dachshund *breathe* at them regularly simply for a) attention and b) “come be RIGHT NEXT TO US” (= attention). All other needs have been accounted for.
This happens a lot when I’m trying to work which can be VERY ANNOYING.

Almost veggie bolognese made in the slow cooker with dried black lentils (and a small amount of smoked speck - hence the almost).
I like it when a little bit of meat goes a long way flavour wise. It’s amazing how meaty this tastes.

New cooking hack: frozen chopped onions & jarred minced garlic. Normally I’d turn my nose up at these. But sometimes it’s the thought of chopping onions & mincing garlic that stops me cooking a good meal for myself. So, F it. I’m embracing the ease. #whatscooking 🍽️

Made this Brazilian Coconut Chickpea Curry because I had an excess of canned chickpeas. Not a pretty dish but very tasty. Also vegan if you don’t add yoghurt like I did.
