was rewatching the Kingsman movies since my brother felt like watching them again. I definitely did not remember the second one being a prominent Pedro Pascal feature.

I’m low-key having an SU Future style crash out. I used to endlessly introspect to the point of futility, and it was awful. so one day I deliberately stopped self-reflecting to spare myself the trouble. but now that I’m tired of routine and looking inward even a little, it’s hitting me like waves

now that the MHA anime has ended, it’s hard not to feel a little more chilled on the series than I’d prefer to be. I’ve always had a soft spot for the show, so it’s an unfortunate feeling. I am kinda happy for it though, and it’s nice seeing something like an old friend reach the finish line

I watched Predator for the first time. It's kinda mind-blowing to me. this is almost the entire Metal Gear Solid playbook right here. the stealth, the extraction, the invisible techno foe, the booby traps, everything. the MGS1 Cyborg Ninja fight is like a quiz on whether or not you've seen Predator

ohhhh my God. I finally bought myself a foot rest for my PC desk. and like. this is maybe the first time I've ever felt like I was AT my PC. I'm stable, I'm focused, I'm present. previously, it kinda felt like I was only ever surviving my PC. this is like a whole different dimension

ohhhh my God. I finally bought myself a foot rest for my PC desk. and like. this is maybe the first time I've ever felt like I was AT my PC. I'm stable, I'm focused, I'm present. previously, it kinda felt like I was only ever surviving my PC. this is like a whole different dimension
I spent the last couple of days going from knowing nothing about keyboards to scratching the surface of knowing too much about keyboards. now that I’ve splurged and bought myself a keyboard for gaming and a keyboard for typing, I can hopefully go back to not thinking about it for a good few months

I bought an Xbox Wireless Adapter off of eBay since I have a few Xbox controllers, but my PC’s bluetooth feature is kinda busted for some reason. the connection was either spotty or nonexistent. so it’s refreshing to have it just work again. reminds me of Xbox 360’s promo video for a wireless future

when I saw Wicked Part 1, I saw that twitter was preemptively trashing it. so I was pleasantly surprised with the movie. with Wicked: For Good, I I’m pleasantly surprised again. this time because I had low expectations for Act 2. the movie’s runtime lets them add scenes that round out the scope

I remember thinking Zootopia 1 was cute and surprisingly thoughtful until people figured out how to out-woke the movie and I couldn’t help but agree. Similarly, I think the sequel is also pretty well-executed from where I’m standing. only time will tell if Big Woke will come for Zootopia Too

Predator: Badlands is surprisingly funny and wholesome? idk how Predator fans feel about it. I like it. The death planet concept feels very comic book-y.

a side effect of my CPU cooling being fixed is that my room just isn't as warm and toasty anymore. though maybe I'm being overly fond. previously I would have described my room's atmosphere as "oppressive" and "dense"

I wonder if the Steam Machine counts as a console. in principle, it’s just a PC library plugged into the TV. but that’s not so different from Xbox’s Play Anywhere feature. Only difference being that Steam has a built in audience and isn’t fleecing anyone with a wacky subscription

hmm. I’m watching SANDA mostly with dub, though I’m switching back and forth with subs occasionally to see what I’m missing out on. the original audio has great performances from side characters, but the bug-eyed tall girl sounds cooler and devil may care-er in English, and that’s my deciding factor

oh man do I have a new hot take for you. I think I actually kinda like Joker: Folie à Deux?? or at least. I appreciate it. I like it more than Joker 2019. it's weird. everyone said Joker 2 would be bad, so I assumed it would be. but being a Joker 1 hater grants me untapped emotional clarity

perhaps the only negative side effect of the meds so far is that it’s a little harder for me to do car karaoke. now that I can feel the shape of my inner energy, it’s a little harder to let the music flow through me and inhabit me. I feel a little more self-conscious even when I’m alone

with the new meds, I feel like I'm on one of those airport moving walkways, and I'm walking even as I'm carried forward, so I'm moving even faster. is this what normal people feel like? incomprehensible. it's amazing I've gotten anything done previously.

last night I was catching up with the Peacemaker show and I was starting to get chills during one of the needledrops. "wow," I thought. "am I really feeling it right now? is the show getting to me on an elemental level? or wait. maybe it's just a side effect from my new ADHD meds lmao"

recently I realized my library card expired like 3 years ago and is way beyond the point of renewing. so I got a new one. I forgot how nice it is to dig around the library! guess I must've fallen out of the habit during the pandemic and then forgot once I got my job. dang. anyways, books are cool
