Nobody: What are you working on?

Me: I'm currently on a project where I combine field recordings of station announcements and platform ambiences from the Berlin S-Bahn into longform ambient tracks with deep drones, rain and subtle synth melodies. Nothing special.

And i finished the cover art.

🎹 I absolutely love those "Synths Behind" videos! They demonstrate very well how little equipment is needed to create fantastic songs when creativity and inspiration drive the process. Oh, and of course I'm a die-hard OMD fan. ;)

🎹 Today, I'd like to recommend the dungeon synth album “Old Kings Fall” by Hircine. I found this excellent autumnal album on Bandcamp and fell in love with it immediately. The fantasy - ambient music creates such a relaxed atmosphere. It's a masterpiece.

🎧 Bandcamp introduced me to this wonderful album by Lehmann. It's an excellent mix of cool restraint, with melancholic warm undertones, and dark dreamy landscapes. Melodic winter synth with a keen sense of dungeon synth, the atmosphere could hardly be better.
