The 2-story, wood-frame "Waterfront Victorian" Balboa Pavilion, on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, was built in 1905 by the Newport Bay Investment Company. In 1923, J.P. Greeley converted the 2nd floor of the Pavilion into a dance floor. #SoCalLandmarks at bit.ly/38ZDuPC #socal #photography

Hale House was built in 1887 in northeast Los Angeles. The design of the Queen Anne style Victorian mansion is generally accredited to Joseph Cather Newsom.
