Leader Thune just called 22 million Americans a "fraction of a fraction." We think lowering healthcare costs for 22 million Americans is much more than that, Senator.
Sioux Falls! Support @indivisible605sd.bsky.social and @50501southdakota.bsky.social's Winter Gear Drive next Saturday, November 15th, from 10AM to 1PM. We know how cold it gets around here, so let's do our part to keep folks warm.
Dusty Johnson's work calendar for November just dropped – and it looks pretty light.
Last night's blue wave is coming to South Dakota in 2026.

Congratulations to all the Democrats who won their races!
Tonight, American voters delivered a Democratic resurgence.
Larry - you run the government. Did you forget? Or is this a self-own?

BREAKING: Donald Trump just announced he will withhold SNAP benefits for 42 million Americans throughout the duration of the Republican shutdown, DEFYING previous court rulings.

The cruelty is the point.
"It takes two to tango, and both parties have a responsibility to govern. But facts matter. [...] South Dakotans deserve leaders who tell the truth—and who put people over politics."

Governor Rhoden, 75,000 South Dakotans going hungry sounds like a "rainy day" to us, and more than enough reason to reach into South Dakota's rainy day fund.

Do what the people pay you for: serve them, and keep South Dakotans fed.
Rhoden said that he doesn't think we should pay for SNAP because government is the "least effective solution to the problems we face."

Governor, breaking news: you're in charge of the government.
Governor, how out of touch can you be?
"Thousands of South Dakotans depend on SNAP to feed their families. Calling a special session would reaffirm our shared commitment to protecting the health, dignity, and well-being of every South Dakotan."

John Thune when asked to lower costs for billionaires😄:
BREAKING: Trump just said that cattle ranchers "don't understand" their own markets.

Hot take: ranchers understand their markets just fine.
Thune has held Senate leadership roles during the three longest shutdowns. How can we trust him to effectively run Congress or represent the people of South Dakota?
Small farms are going under at the highest rate in 5 years.

South Dakota farmers deserve better than this administration's failed promises.
The House has been on recess for an entire month. Hey Dusty, when are you planning on getting back to work?
Freezing SNAP benefits will hurt 75,000 South Dakotans, including children, seniors and working parents.

These are hard working people who don't deserve to be used as bargaining chips. Republicans have the power to reopen the government -- it's time they do their job.

The Voting Rights Act is what protected the voting power of Native Americans in South Dakota 20 years ago. Now Republicans want to dismantle it. Don't let them silence your voice.
